Option 4 – Comprehensive Master Kit (R34 195.00.00 excl. adapter rings)

Option four is aimed at advanced shooters or anyone who wants to go all out from the very beginning. It includes everything that we consider essential products from the Lee Filters brand. Two foundation kits allow you to configure a holder with three/four slots for when you need to use many filters as well as a holder with only two slots for use with an ultra-wide lens. This is very useful and I’ve had two filter holders in my bag for many years now. The soft and hard grad sets provide a solution for almost any sky as you can achieve darkening of 1 to 6 stops (0.3-1.8) by combining various grads. You can also achieve a medium graduation by combining a soft and hard grad e.g. 0.6 soft + 0.3 hard = 0.9 medium. The 0.6 and 0.9 Proglass ND will be your best friends when shooting seascapes and the Big- and Little Stopper offer a creative adventure with long exposures. This combination has a total of ten filters, so getting the 10-sleeve field pouch is an absolute must. The wide angle lens hood allows you to perfect those dramatic shots looking just a few degrees from the sun. The Lee 105mm polariser allows the graduated filters and polariser to be rotated independently of each other. The 105mm accessory ring is the crucial attachment between the filter holder and the 105mm polariser. Finish it off with the required adapter ring/rings and plastic caps and you’re ready for some serious landscape shooting.

Foundation Kit x2

The foundation kit allows you to customise your holder so that it has up to 4 slots. If you’re a wide angle person, then you’re likely only to have 2 slots in order to avoid vignetting. If you’re not that fond of the wide lens then you can have 4 slots on your holder for any combination of filters. If you have two holders then you don’t have to change the amount of slots as your lens preferences change. You can keep one holder with 1/2 slots for the wide shots and one with 3/4 slots for the longer lenses or for when you need several filters.

Soft and Hard Grad ND Sets

The grad ND sets each contain a 0.3, 0.6 and 0.9 filter in hard and soft, respectively. With these six filters at your disposal you will have a solution for every possible situation. If 0.9 isn’t strong enough, you can combine it with an 0.3 to get 4 stops of darkening. When a soft grad is too soft and a hard grad too hard, you can combine a soft and hard grad to create the effect of a medium grad.
